General Terms (Manufactured Products)

Due to steel market volatility, please carefully read the terms below:
- Written Notice of Intent
- A written (PO or email) notice of intent is required within 7 days of the bid date for pricing to remain valid.
- Pricing ValidityPricing is valid if:
- PO is received within 30 days from bid date.
- Product is delivered within 60 days from quote date, unless material is built under the MOH program as scheduled by American Highway.
- Order Release for Production
- Orders are released into production upon receipt of PO.
- Orders must be released 60 days before requote/escalation date.
- Quantities beyond the PO will be quoted at current market pricing.
- Freight
- Freight is invoiced based on actual costs at the time of shipment.
- Job Site Storage
- If job site storage is an issue, please contact us for mutually acceptable alternatives.
- Order Acknowledgment
- Upon receipt of PO, American Highway will confirm lead time, which is based on PO date, inventory levels, production schedule, and raw material availability — and may change.
- Basket Type
- Pricing reflects a standard basket unless otherwise noted. Please inform us of skewed or tapered basket requirements.
- UV Protection Covers
- Disposable UV covers are available at an additional fee. One cover protects up to four pallets of dowels or one pallet of baskets.
General Terms (All Products)

- Delivered Pricing
- Delivered prices are subject to additional charges imposed by freight carriers.
- Estimated Quantities
- All listed quantities are for estimating purposes only and are not guaranteed.
- PO Quantities Govern
- The Contractor’s Purchase Order is considered the final quantity required for the project.
- Package Pricing
- Prices are valid only if the entire quoted package is ordered. Changes or deletions require re-pricing and must be approved by American Highway.
- Invoicing and Payment Terms
- Materials released for production are invoiced upon completion. Payment terms are Net 30 days. Late fees will apply on overdue balances.
- FOB Terms
- Pricing is FOB jobsite unless otherwise specified.
- Freight Assumptions
- Quotes assume full truckload shipments. Change orders, overages, or LTL (Less Than Truckload) shipments may incur additional freight charges.
- Unloading Window
- Freight offload time is one hour. Additional time is billed at $50/hour.
- Returns
- Must be pre-approved and in sellable condition.
- A restocking fee applies.
- No returns accepted after 60 days from delivery or October 1 of the same year, whichever is earlier.
- Standard Terms Apply
- American Highway’s Standard Terms and Conditions apply. A copy will be provided upon request.
